Key Objective
Our principal purpose is to provide a comprehensive health programme to the remote workforce in order to break the existing sedentary lifestyle trend.
Problem statement
- Companies have made it a priority to establish an effective wellness programme to keep their staff healthy and productive.
Looking to motivate their remote employees through extra-curricular activities, The Hershey Company (THC) sought an inclusive digital wellbeing platform with real-time features to launch a well-defined virtual wellness program.
The manager desired a real-time HR dashboard to track employee performance precisely.
- They also aimed to create a virtual wellness programme that fulfilled their criterion of being accessible to employees across the world, irrespective of time or location.THC needed digital wellness solutions that could bring the entire team together, thus focusing on employee engagement and communication for the dispersed workforce.
SolutionVantage Fit hosted a walkathon challenge under the campaign name "Hershey’s Fitness Challenge" spanning over 2 weeks, starting from 9th August 2021 to 22nd August 2021.
This 2-week campaign, which mostly emphasized the Step challenge, included activities like Water Log in and Heart Rate Monitoring, and others, with defined targets established for each challenge each week.
The availability of a real-time Vantage Fit HR Dashboard allowed HR admins to track participants' progress from anywhere in the world, erasing time and location constraints.
Employees were given access to their own completely gamified leaderboard, allowing them to keep track of task activities and keep accountability.
A smooth and transparent pointer method was designed by assigning monetary incentives to each task.
Results - Around 71 employees competed in the 2-week long Hershey’s Fitness Challenge. - A total of 5255000 steps were completed by the entire workforce. - All participants covered a total distance of over 4005 km in 2 weeks’ time. - Each employee burned around 3331 calories on average during the entire challenge. 71+Participants 56+ (Km)Average Distance Covered 236,500+ (KCal)Total Calories Burned
