Every report in the Vantage Fit admin dashboard can be exported as a CSV file for offline analysis, record-keeping, or sharing with stakeholders. The process is the same across all report types — find the report, apply your filters, and click export.
General Export Process
- Navigate to the report you want to export.
- Apply any filters (date range, department, country, etc.).
- Click the Export CSV or Download CSV button.
- The file downloads directly to your browser's default download location.
Note: The exported CSV respects whatever filters you have applied. If you filter by a specific department, the export only includes data for that department. Remove all filters before exporting if you want the complete dataset.

Tips for Working with Exported Data
- Open in Excel or Google Sheets. CSV files open natively in any spreadsheet application.
- Check encoding. If employee names contain special characters and appear garbled, try opening the CSV with UTF-8 encoding explicitly selected.
- Create pivot tables. For large datasets, use pivot tables to quickly summarize data by department, country, or other dimensions.
- Archive exports monthly. Download and store reports at regular intervals. This creates a historical record even if the dashboard only shows current data.
- Combine reports for deeper analysis. Cross-reference the Employee Report (enrollment) with the Transaction Report (activity) to find enrolled-but-inactive employees.
Best Practices
- Export before distributing prizes. Always download the final leaderboard CSV before announcing winners. This is your audit trail.
- Filter before exporting. If you only need one department's data, filter first to keep the file manageable.
- Schedule regular exports. Set a monthly reminder to export Employee Report and Transaction Report data. You will thank yourself when leadership asks for trend data.
- Share with stakeholders. CSV exports are the easiest way to share wellness program data with executives who do not have admin dashboard access.
