What is Lite Mode?

How Lite Mode Differs for Employees

Onboarding

Minimal — employees accept Terms & Conditions and they're in. No health profile, no height/weight/age entry, no fitness goals. Under a minute from download to tracking.

Summary Page

Shows one Activity Ring (steps only) instead of two, a 7-day step bar chart, and Race-format challenge cards.

Plus (+) Menu

Only shows Sync — all other logging options (meals, water, sleep, mood, workouts) are hidden.

Challenges

Only Race format is available — a straightforward steps-only competition. No multi-task challenges with water, sleep, or nutrition goals.

When to Use Lite Mode

  • Quick deployment — launch a wellness initiative in 1–2 days, not weeks
  • Short campaigns — 2–3 week seasonal challenges or pilot programs
  • Large rollouts — simpler experience means fewer support questions
  • Steps-first strategy — start with steps, upgrade to Full Mode later once employees are engaged

Upgrading to Full Mode

Upgrading from Lite to Full Mode is handled by your Vantage Fit account manager. Once activated, employees get access to the complete feature set.

Downgrading from Full to Lite is not supported. Once Full Mode is active, it cannot be rolled back.

Note: The mode applies company-wide. Individual employees cannot switch between modes.

How to Tell Which Mode You're Running

If your company is in Lite Mode:

  • Employees see one Activity Ring (steps only)
  • The Plus (+) menu only shows Sync
  • No meal, water, sleep, or mood logging anywhere in the app
  • All challenges are Race format (steps-only)

If you see nutrition logging, two Activity Rings, or multi-task challenges, you're in Full Mode.
