The Vantage Fit web app lets you manually log physical activities right from your browser. Whether you went for a run, did a yoga session, or hit the gym, you can record it on the web so it counts toward your challenges and daily stats.
How to Navigate to Log Activity
- Open a Vantage Fit email and click Open Vantage Fit. If prompted, sign in with your work email and password.
- Click on the My Activity tab in the top navigation.
- From there, navigate to the Log Activity page.
You'll see a list of predefined activities organized by category, ready for you to pick from.
Selecting and Logging an Activity
Step 1: Choose Your Activity
Activities are grouped into categories with priority ordering so the most common ones appear first. You'll typically see categories like:
- Cardio — Running, Walking, Cycling, Swimming, Jump Rope, and more
- Sports — Basketball, Tennis, Football, Badminton, Cricket, and more
- Strength — Weight Training, Push-ups, Pull-ups, Squats, and more
- Mind & Body — Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, Tai Chi, and more
- Other — Gardening, Housework, Dancing, and more
Your company may also have custom activities added by your HR admin (like "Walking Meeting" or "Desk Stretching"). These appear alongside the standard activities.
Step 2: Enter Your Values
Once you select an activity, you'll be prompted to enter the relevant details:
- Distance (in km or miles) — for activities like running, walking, or cycling
- Duration (in minutes) — for time-based activities like yoga, meditation, or weight training
- Reps (count) — for repetition-based activities like push-ups or squats
The app calculates calories burned automatically based on the activity type and the value you enter.
Step 3: Choose the Date
By default, the activity is logged for today. But if you forgot to log yesterday's workout or want to record an activity from a few days ago, use the date picker to select a past date.
Step 4: Save
Click Save to record your activity. It's immediately added to your activity history and counts toward any active challenge tasks that match.
Tip: Log your activities promptly after completing them. It's easier to remember accurate details, and your challenge progress updates right away.
Editing a Previously Logged Activity
Made a mistake? No problem. You can edit activities you've already logged:
- Go to the Logged Activities page (accessible from the My Activity section).
- Find the activity you want to change.
- Click on it to open the edit view.
- Update the value, date, or other details.
- Save your changes.
Deleting a Logged Activity
If you logged an activity by mistake or entered a duplicate:
- Go to the Logged Activities page.
- Find the activity you want to remove.
- Click the delete option.
- Confirm the deletion.
The activity and its associated calories will be removed from your history and stats.
Viewing Your Activity History
The Logged Activities page gives you a complete record of everything you've logged. Each entry shows:
- Activity name and type
- Value (distance, duration, or reps)
- Calories burned
- Date and time the activity was logged
This is useful for reviewing your patterns over time and confirming that activities have been properly recorded for challenge credit.
What Counts Toward Challenges
When you log an activity on the web, it automatically counts toward any active challenge tasks that match. For example:
- You log a 30-minute yoga session → if your challenge includes a "yoga" task, it gets credit
- You log a 5 km run → if your challenge includes a "running" task, the distance counts
The match happens based on the activity type, so make sure you're selecting the correct activity from the list.
What the Web App Does NOT Support for Activity Logging
The web app covers manual activity logging, but some features are only available on the mobile app:
| Feature | Web | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Manual activity logging | Yes | Yes |
| GPS-tracked workouts | No | Yes |
| Food/nutrition search | No | Yes |
| Automatic step tracking | No | Yes |
| Import from wearable | No | Yes |
Note: If you need to track a GPS workout (walking route, running route, cycling route), use the mobile app. The web app is designed for manual entry of activities you've already completed.
Tips for Web Activity Logging
- Be accurate with values — your challenge scores and calorie estimates depend on what you enter.
- Use the date picker for past activities — don't skip logging just because you forgot on the day. You can always backfill.
- Check your logged activities — review the Logged Activities page periodically to make sure everything looks right.
- Log consistently — even short activities count. A 10-minute walk is still progress.
