Vantage Fit rewards employees with Vantage Points for completing wellness challenges and tasks. Points are redeemable for gift cards from a curated catalogue. This article covers how points are configured, when they're credited, what employees see, and the options available to admins.
Setting Point Values on a Challenge
You set point rewards while creating or editing a challenge.
- Go to Challenges → Create (or open an existing challenge → Edit).
- Configure your tasks for each theme or day.
- For each task, set the point value in USD (e.g.
0.50USD per completed daily step target). - Save and publish.
Vantage Fit automatically converts the USD value into each employee's local currency at display time using your company's configured conversion rate. This is why a US-based employee and an India-based employee see the same challenge but different point totals — both reflect the same underlying USD value.
Tip: Vantage Fit does not enforce a "budget pool" cap at the challenge level. You allocate per-task; total spend depends on how many employees complete each task. Use the leaderboard during the challenge to monitor uptake.
When Points Are Credited
| Action | When Points Appear |
|---|---|
| Daily activity targets (steps, water, etc.) | Credited at end-of-day after the source data syncs (with a small backend buffer of up to a few minutes) |
| Single-event tasks (log a meal, complete a workout, watch a video) | Real-time — points appear in the employee's wallet immediately, with a confirmation popup |
| Milestone checkpoints (Journey challenges) | Real-time when the milestone is reached |
| Final leaderboard ranking bonuses | Credited after challenge ends, with a 3-day buffer to allow backdated step syncs to settle |
| Bulk admin upload (Rewards Hub → Upload Points) | On approval — requires OTP verification |
What Employees See
Points appear in the Wallet section of the employee app. From there, employees can:
- View their total balance
- Browse the gift-card redemption catalogue
- Redeem points for gift cards (delivered in-app and by email)
- See past transactions (earned, redeemed, gifted)

Per-Company Configuration
The wellness-rewards experience varies by company contract. Your account manager configures these options for your tenant:
| Option | Effect |
|---|---|
| Point label | Display "Vantage Points" or a custom name (e.g. "Wellness Points") |
| Show monetary value | Show or hide phrases like "Worth ₹500" next to a balance |
| Show conversion rate | Show or hide "1 point = ₹X" in the wallet |
| Wallet enabled | Wallet visible to employees, or hidden if your contract is points-only-for-leagues |
| Redemption enabled | Redemption catalogue available, or display-only for tracking purposes |
| Multi-country balances | Employees in different countries see separate balances (Enterprise) |
If you're unsure which of these are on for your company, contact your account manager.
Validity and Expiry
Points may carry a validity period set by your company's contract. The current employee wallet UI does not display expiry dates inline — if your contract includes expiry, employees should be advised to redeem promptly after earning.
For the specific validity rule applied to your account, contact your account manager.
Monetary Challenges (Limited Availability)
Some accounts have an additional configuration that lets HR admins set explicit USD values per task with monetary-redemption semantics (as distinct from points-only). This is a contract-gated feature available on a small number of accounts today.
If you don't see USD-value fields when creating tasks, your account is on the standard points configuration — your account manager can confirm whether monetary challenges are available for your contract.
Auditing Rewards Spend
The Transaction Report in the admin dashboard shows points credited and redeemed across your organisation. The Incentivization KPI on the Overview page shows total reward spend converted to your local currency.
