Can I use Mi Band, Amazfit, Huawei, or other wearables?

Updated May 12, 2026 Employee

Yes. Many wearables work with Vantage Fit through your phone's fitness apps. You don't need a Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch.

How It Works

Vantage Fit doesn't connect to most of these wearables directly. Your wearable sends data to its companion app, then your phone makes that data available to Vantage Fit.

On iPhone: Your Wearable → Companion App → Apple Health → Vantage Fit

On Android: Your Wearable → Companion App → phone step data → Vantage Fit

For best results, make sure your steps appear in your phone's fitness app before syncing Vantage Fit.

Supported Wearables via Bridge

These wearables may work with Vantage Fit when their companion app shares data with your phone:

Wearable Companion App iPhone Android
Xiaomi Mi Band Zepp Life / Mi Fitness Yes Yes
Amazfit (GTR, GTS, T-Rex, etc.) Zepp / Zepp Life Yes Yes
Huawei Watch / Band Huawei Health Yes Yes
Realme Band Realme Link Limited Yes
Honor Band Huawei Health Yes Yes
Noise Fit NoiseFit No Yes
PlayFit Band PlayFit No Yes
Redmi Band Mi Fitness Yes Yes
Galaxy Band / Watch Samsung Health N/A Yes
Google Pixel Watch Fitbit / Google Fit N/A Yes

Note: Compatibility depends on the companion app and your phone settings. Check the wearable app for Apple Health, Google Fit, or Health Connect options.

Branded Device Options (Android)

The Vantage Fit Android app shows branded device options for popular wearables:

  • MI Band
  • PlayFit Band
  • Redmi Band
  • Realme Band
  • Honor Band
  • Galaxy Band
  • Noise Fit

You can also enter a custom device name if your specific wearable isn't listed.

Setting Up Your Wearable

On iPhone

  1. Pair your wearable with its companion app (Zepp Life, Huawei Health, etc.)
  2. Enable Apple Health sync in the companion app's settings — look for "Apple Health," "Health Kit," or "Health Data" in the app settings
  3. Connect Apple Health to Vantage Fit — see How Do I Connect Apple Health?
  4. Your wearable's steps now flow into Vantage Fit automatically

On Android

  1. Pair your wearable with its companion app
  2. Make sure recent steps appear on your phone
  3. Open Vantage Fit and tap Plus (+) → Sync

Tip: If your wearable app does not share steps with your phone, Vantage Fit may not be able to sync them.

Trusted Step Sources

Vantage Fit only counts steps from recognized apps and devices to ensure fair challenge competition. Most major wearable companion apps are recognized.

If your wearable's steps appear on your phone but not in Vantage Fit, contact support from Settings → Help.

One Important Limitation

Unlike Fitbit and Garmin, these wearables share step data through your phone. This means:

  • Steps from your phone and your wearable both contribute to your total
  • Your phone helps avoid counting the same steps twice
  • Minor discrepancies between your wearable's display and Vantage Fit are normal
