Your health and fitness data is personal. Vantage Fit is designed to keep it that way. Here is how your data is protected.
Your Data Stays in Your Region
Vantage Fit operates four completely isolated instances across the world:
- India
- United States
- European Union
- United Arab Emirates
When your company signs up, they choose a region. Your data stays in that region and is not shared across regions.
Note: Your region is determined by your company, not by your personal location. If your company chose the EU instance, your data stays in the EU even if you travel to the US.
Encryption
Vantage Fit uses encryption to protect sensitive information:
- Sensitive profile fields — your profile picture, mobile number, and location data are encrypted at rest using AES encryption.
- Data in transit — information sent between the app and Vantage Fit services is protected with standard encryption.
- Health metrics — your steps, weight, BMI, and other fitness data are stored securely with access controls.
What Your HR Admin Can See (and Cannot See)
This is one of the most common questions, so here is a clear breakdown:
Your Admin CAN See
- Aggregate organizational metrics — enrollment rates, active user percentages, and wellness scores at the department or company level
- Challenge participation status — whether you joined a challenge and your leaderboard position
- Leaderboard rankings — your step count and challenge scores (since these are part of the competition)
Your Admin CANNOT See
- Your individual health profile — weight, BMI, body measurements
- Your HRA (Health Risk Assessment) details — your answers and health risk categories
- Your lab report results — biomarker values and health indicators
- Your mood logs — how you are feeling day to day
- Your food diary — what you ate and calorie counts
Tip: Think of it this way — your admin sees participation data (did you join? how many steps?), but not personal health data (what do you weigh? what did your blood test show?).
Lab Reports
If you upload lab reports for biomarker tracking, here is how they are handled:
- Lab reports are processed using AI to extract biomarker values (like cholesterol, blood sugar, etc.).
- The extracted data is stored in your personal health profile, which only you can see.
- Your reports are processed securely and are not shared with other users or your employer.
- Your admin cannot view your lab results.
Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account at any time:
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Verify your identity with an OTP (one-time password) sent to your email.
- Confirm the deletion.
When you delete your account:
- Your name and email are hashed (converted to an unreadable format) — your identity is anonymized.
- Your you are signed out everywhere — no one can access your account.
- Historical activity records are preserved for data integrity (challenge results, leaderboard history), but they are no longer linked to your identity.
Note: Account deletion is permanent. If you want to use Vantage Fit again after deleting, you would need to create a new account.
Step Verification and Your Privacy
Vantage Fit accepts step data from supported apps and devices such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, and Garmin.
This system only checks whether your step data comes from a verified source. It does not access other data on your phone, scan your apps, or monitor your activity outside of fitness tracking.
No Selling of Data
Your health data is not shared with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Vantage Fit is a B2B workplace wellness platform — your company pays for the service, and your data is used solely to power the features you use within the app.
