Yes — the health profile part of onboarding is optional. You can skip it and start using Vantage Fit immediately.
However, connecting a health platform is required — Vantage Fit needs at least one connection to receive your step data. During onboarding, the app connects you to your platform's default:
- iPhone → Apple Health
- Android 14+ → Health Connect
- Older Android → Google Fit
This step cannot be skipped. The health profile (height, weight, fitness goal, etc.) is the part you can skip.
How to Skip the Health Profile
During the onboarding flow, tap "Skip" at any health profile step. The app shows a confirmation dialog:
"Skip Health Profile Setup?"
The app explains that certain features like calorie insights and health scores may not work as intended without a health profile. Tap "Skip" to confirm, and you'll be taken straight to summary page.
Note: If your company uses Lite Mode, onboarding is automatically skipped after you accept the Terms & Conditions. There's no health profile setup to skip — you go directly to the Summary Page.
What Happens When You Skip
Your account works normally, but some features won't be fully personalized:

Step tracking, challenges, and rewards all work perfectly without the health profile. The main things you miss are personalized calorie targets and BMI tracking.
Completing It Later
You can complete your health profile at any time:
- Tap your Profile icon (or navigate to your profile screen)
- Tap "Edit Health Profile"
- The same onboarding flow reopens — enter your date of birth, gender, height, weight, fitness goal, and activity level
- Your BMI and calorie targets are calculated immediately based on what you enter
Tip: If you're mainly interested in step challenges and don't plan to track nutrition, skipping onboarding is perfectly fine. You can always come back to it if you want personalized calorie targets later.
